The project
B2H is building a Sharia-compliant trading assistant: a financial analysis platform that surfaces investment opportunities and explains every recommendation it makes.
The system combines technical analysis (support and resistance, Japanese candlesticks, indicators), machine learning models, risk management and Islamic finance rules. It produces BUY / HOLD / AVOID signals with an explanation attached — and never executes an order automatically. The decision stays human.
You join a team of three interns — AI, Machine Learning, Software — to build an MVP in one month.
Your mission
Build the web platform that makes the other two roles' work visible and usable.
Responsibilities
Backend
- Design and implement the backend architecture
- Develop the market analysis and recommendation APIs
- Integrate the machine learning models into the application
- Manage financial data and user information
Database
Design and run the structures for users, financial assets, market data, predictions and analysis history.
Frontend
Build an interactive dashboard covering:
- Market analysis — asset search, price visualisation, candlestick charts, technical indicators, support and resistance display
- Recommendations — BUY / HOLD / AVOID signals, confidence score visualisation, AI-generated explanations, Sharia compliance status
Deployment
Docker configuration, cloud deployment, environment management, baseline application security.

Who we are looking for
- Studying software engineering, computer science or equivalent
- Comfortable on both sides: an API and an interface
- Grounding in relational databases and REST APIs
- Care about presentation: a badly rendered confidence score misleads a user more reliably than no information at all
- Docker and cloud deployment are a plus
Timeline
A one-month internship in four stages: framing and research, core development, integration with the other components, then testing, evaluation and the final MVP presentation.
